What time will the gates open? The EAST GATE (near the tennis courts) will open at 1 PM on Friday and on 11:30 AM Saturday/Sunday to allow people to go to the Blues Workshops. The Friday Blues Workshop starts at 1:15 PM and the Saturday/Sunday Blues Workshops start at 11:45 AM
The NORTH GATE (near the library parking lot) will open ONE HOUR before the music starts on the days of the festival. The NORTH GATE will open at 1:30 on Friday and at NOON on Saturday and Sunday. Music starts at 2:30 pm on Friday and at 1 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
How do I buy tickets? Tickets will be on sale at the festival Friday through Sunday at Jackie Robinson Ballpark Tickets are not refundable.
I purchased my tickets online. Where do I pick them up? Go to the WILL CALL area at Jackie Robinson Ballpark to pick up your Daytona Blues Festival tickets. THERE WILL BE SIGNS. You can also pick up your WILL CALL tickets at the WELCOME PARTY on Thursday, October 5 from 8-11 PM at Bahama Breeze.Just show your photo ID and PayPal receipt. WE DO NOT MAIL TICKETS TO YOU.
I bought tickets for the 2016 festival which was cancelled due to Hurricane Matthew. Are my tickets still good? Yes, your tickets are still valid. We have a list and you will pick up your tickets at WILL CALL at the 2017 festival or at the Welcome Party. Bring your valid ID and PayPal receipt.
What are the 2017 ticket prices? 2017 TICKETS are $90 for a 3 day ticket and $35 for a 1 day ticket. Tickets will be on sale at the festival Friday starting at 1:30 PM Friday. Tickets are non-refundable. ONLINE TICKET SALES ENDED OCTOBER 2 at 8:59 PM.
Are seats assigned or is the festival general admission? All tickets are general admission. There is no assigned seating. Jackie Robinson does have reserved areas for people who use wheelchairs.
What about tickets for children? The festival is an all ages event. One child under the age of 14 will be admitted FREE with one paid admission.
What time will the music end? The music will end by 10:30 pm Friday and Saturday and by 9:15 pm on Sunday.
Where is the festival held? Jackie Robinson Ballpark, 105 East Orange Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. The ball park is home of the Daytona Tortugas and is referred to as “The Jack.”
What about parking? There is a free parking lot adjacent to historic Jackie Robinson Ballpark. There are approximately 5000 parking spaces within a 5 minute walk of the ball park, according to the Daytona Tortuga’s website.
What about handicap parking? Handicap parking is available in the parking lot on a first come, first serve basis.
Is there a shuttle service from my hotel to the festival? Shuttle service is NOT available from our lodging partner hotels to the festival. Taxis and rental cars are available in Daytona Beach
What’s near the ball park? The ball park is located in historic downtown Daytona just across the street (Beach Avenue) from shops and restaurants.
What about seating? The ball park has grandstand (covered) seating, bleacher seating(not covered), and you can stand or dance in front of the stage.
Is the ball park wheelchair accessible? Yes. Jackie Robinson Ball Park has wheelchair accessible seating and restrooms.
Can I bring my dog? Only service dogs are allowed in Jackie Robinson Ballpark.
Can I bring a chair? No. Chairs are not allowed. You may bring a seat cushion.
Can I bring an umbrella? Yes, but the grandstand is covered so umbrellas are not necessary in inclement weather.
Can I bring a camera? Yes.
Can I bring a cooler? No, the ballpark policy prohibits coolers. And Jackie Robinson Ballpark security employees and Daytona Blues Festival security employees have the right to inspect your bags. It’s for the safety of everyone.
Is food available at the ball park? Yes. Reasonably priced food and beverages are available for sale.
Is there an ATM at the ball park? Yes.
